Parliament is a cigarette brand produced by Phillip Morris. Parliament cigarettes are characterized for their paper filter, in comparison to the solid foam filter on other cigarettes with filters. Parliaments are also distinguished by a tangy flavor, sharp taste. At present Parliament cigarettes are presented in 6 different varieties: full flavor -Blues, Lights and Ultra Lights, Menthol Full Flavor, Menthol Ultra Lights and Menthol Lights. All these marks are available in both Hundreds and King Size varieties. The 100s, nevertheless, are offered in the Canada and USA only, as in the CIS and Europe only the King Size variants. Although Parliament cigarettes are a small share of Phillip Morris's production sales, they are popular enough among smokers in the USA and Russia. Parliaments' special filter recesses are used for cocaine snorting. Parliament took strong positions in Argentina, Japan, the Russia, Israel, Turkey. On the Western Europe, Parliament brand is not very popular.
